I found an interesting postcard on www.postsecret.com. Unfortunately it’s not a normal jpeg link so I have no idea how to post it on my blog. But I will type what it says:
“I learned of her in 2004 and the affair ended. I have tortured her since - psychologically and emotionally. It’s not hard. And she still doesn’t know it’s me.”
And here is someone’s response to the post card:

Subject: “I Torture My Husband’s Ex-Mistress”
I have continually made life hell for a man who used and then dumped me unceremoniously over five years ago. It’s nothing physical - he lives in another state now - but he’s been fired because his employers have received notes from me, his flight arrangements are often cancelled, complaints made to his landlord, his electricity mysteriously turned off. Reading this card, I have decided to stop, because it made me realize that by not letting go, the only one I’m really torturing is myself.
It’s 2:30 AM and I’m blogging. Why? Because I can’t sleep. I’ve learned a very important lesson today, and that lesson is sometimes you cannot trust your family members no matter how close you may be. You cannot trust your family members to keep your secrets. You cannot trust your family members to keep your best interest at heart. You cannot trust your family members to consider your feelings. Why? It alls comes down to SELFISHNESS.
Why would someone tell your secrests? Because they are selfish. They want to tell a secret so they can feel important. They know something the other person doesn’t, and that makes them feel like they have power.
Why would someone not keep your best interests at heart? Because they are selfish. They don’t want what’s best for you, because they want what’s best for themselves.
Why would someone be incosiderate of your feelings? Because they are selfish. They don’t want to think of how they may affect you, because really, they only care about how they can benefit from a situation. No matter who gets hurt or who’s expense it’s at.
You can’t trust your family members to love you unconditionally. You can’t trust your family members to meet your expectations. You can’t trust your family members to be there for you when you need them.
Have I been a selfish family member? You better believe it. But I think today has made me think twice about who I talk to, what I share, and what I think about family.
Awesome to those of you have family members that actually aren’t selfish.
And awesome to myself for having a husband who is the exact opposite of selfish and who I can, without a doubt, trust with my words, feelings, life, love, and soul.
Is anyone else slightly creeped out by the newish Mario Kart commercial for the Wii? It’s promoting the fact that you can play Mario Kart with anyone around the world and shows an Asian boy and an American business man playing from their respective homes/countries.
I just find it really weird that they would choose a grown man and a little boy to be playing. Ok, so it’s not so weird for you to play with people of all ages/races/ethnicities when you are playing videogames online, but that’s the creepy part! You DON’T know who you are playing with!
And to stereotype - the man is your typical white, rich, business man. As he’s flying around his house (as to mimic him in a racecar) his wife looks strangely over his shoulder. On the other side of the country we have this little Asian boy racing around HIS living room. It just reminded me a little too much of “To Catch a Predator.” And let’s not mention the fact that at the end of the commercial the man is all hot and bothered.
I cannot, for the life of me, find the commercial online. If anyone out there can find it, be sure to let me know so I can post it. Yes, you will get credit.
So I’ve had the Verizon Strawberry Chocolate since February of ‘07. But not until a few months ago did I notice that every morning around 4:30 (It does it at an exact time, I just forgot what it was.) it lights up by itself. It does this when it’s off the charger. I’ve tried looking this up online, but what exactly do you type into google? “Phone that lights up at 4:34 every morning?”
I swear it’s possessed. Anyone have this problem and know why it does that?
And for the record, I hate the Chocolate.
Updates on me:
1.) Went to Disneyland last week. My favorite place on earth. It was such an awesome experience to go with people who have never been there before. And The Haunted Mansion is still the best ride ever created.
2.) School is almost in session again. Yay for subbing.
3.) I’ve found out that the school I want to go to to get my certificate in addiction counseling offers online classes. This will make my life so much easier. YAY! I’m so excited.
4.) Anyone selling cheap New Kids on the Block tickets for the San Jose show in October?! If you are, please contact me ASAP! My life’s dream is to see them (I wasn’t able to when I was, what, 3?) and you would be making my inner child very, very happy.

This is so beyond funny and true. I was going to copy and paste it in here, but the length would probably terrify you and the language used probably wouldn’t look so good to a potential employer. Anyway - it’s a Craigs List ad. The guy hates everybody.
So here’s the link: CLICK HERE
